This year's Oscars is now without a host after comedian Kevin Hart announced he is stepping down from the gig.
Hart took to Twitter and Instagram to announce his decision last night.
Hart says the Academy Awards asked him to publicly apologize for homophobic tweets he sent nearly 10 years ago.
Hart says he apologized multiple times in the past, but is a different person now.
Hart also says he thought that giving in to people taking time to un-earth something already addressed would give new life to internet trolls.
After announcing his decision, Hart did take to twitter to apology to the LGBTQ community, calling his past words insensitive.
