TIME announces 2018 Person of the Year: 'The Guardians and the War on Truth'

TIME magazine has announced its annual "Person of the Year" and for 2018, it's a group of people, rather than a single person.
The magazine is releasing four covers, recognizing what it calls "The Guardians and The War on Truth."
This includes the journalists and a newspaper that TIME says are "representatives of a broader fight by countless others around the world."
The "guardians" are slain Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi; The Capital Gazette in Annapolis, Maryland, where five people were shot and killed in June, Philippine journalist Maria Ressa, who has been arrested and two Reuters journalists detained in Myanmar for nearly a year.
