People across Westchester County are turning out today for the annual Toys for Tots collection at Dudleys in New Rochelle.

County Legislator Jim Maisano says this year marked the 15th year of the event, during which hundreds of toys are collected for underprivileged children across the county.

“This is the true meaning of Christmas, the true meaning of the holidays,” he says. “We are going to be collecting hundreds of toys today that will be distributed to kids in need right here in Westchester County.”

Those who would like to donate unwrapped toys and gift cards can visit the Toys for Tots website to find more information about requirements and drop-off locations.
