Posted: Updated:
BROOKLYN -

Holiday cheer filled a Target store in Brooklyn Saturday as police officers from the 75th Precinct took a group of needy children on a holiday shopping spree.

Target sponsored a $60 gift card for each child selected by the precinct.

The spree was made possible by the Heroes and Helpers program, aimed at building a strong bond between police and the community.

This year marked the second year of the event.
