Suffolk County police are increasing patrols this holiday seasons in an effort to prevent people from driving under the influence.

Suffolk County police are increasing patrols this holiday seasons in an effort to prevent people from driving under the influence.
Officers will be setting up DWI checkpoints. They'll also be looking for distracted drivers.
State troopers and other local police departments are taking part in the national "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign, which runs through New Year's Day.
