Medical examiner: Silicone injections to blame for woman’s death

The death of a Philadelphia woman in the Bronx has been deemed a homicide as the result of cosmetic silicone injections in her backside and thighs.

The death of a Philadelphia woman in the Bronx has been deemed a homicide as the result of cosmetic silicone injections in her backside and thighs.
The medical examiner released the cause of death Tuesday for Lesbia Ayala to be systemic silicone embolism syndrome.
She died this past June.
No arrests have been made.
