Police say they are trying to identify a suspect wanted in a violent robbery that happened Friday.

Police: Man robs woman of iPhone, cash at gunpoint
A suspect is wanted in a violent robbery that happened Friday and police are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
Police say the incident took place just before 6 p.m. inside of Ken Marble Inc., located at 156 Flushing Ave.
Authorities say an unidentified person walked through the front door, pointed a silver revolver at a 53-year-old woman and demanded money.
The gunman then grabbed the victim's pocketbook containing her iPhone 5 and $800 before fleeing the scene.
Police say there were no reported injuries.
They say the suspect is a man about 25 years old weighing 200 pounds and stands at about 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a black knit cap, black waist-length jacket, black-faded jeans, black sneakers and a multicolored scarf.
Police say the suspect and victim did not know each other.
