NYPD: 4 suspects attack man on the street in Cypress Hills

A man was attacked as he walked down the street in Cypress Hills last month.

Police say that the attack happened in front of 143 Cleveland St. on Dec. 18 just after midnight.

Surveillance video from the incident was released by the NYPD this morning. Police say a 38-year-old victim was walking along Cleveland Street when he was approached by four young men. Two of them began attacking him, while the other two took his iPhone 6 before they all ran off.

The four suspects are described as being between 16 and 18 years old. All of them were wearing black-hooded sweatshirts with jackets.

News 12 is told the victim suffered some bruising and swelling to his face, but was not seriously hurt.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
