Some New Yorkers are proposing ways to limit traffic on the Brooklyn Bridge after a weekend of extreme crowds.
The borough landmark was so packed that police had to shut down the walkway and bike lanes for about 30 minutes.
The city's Department of Transportation says it is looking into expanding the walkway.
Meanwhile, frustrated residents are proposing other ideas like barriers to limit the flow of foot traffic and an admission fee.
Other New Yorkers say they're used to it and weren't phased by the crowds.
Tourists like Francesca Varela are also against the idea of charging a fee.
"Why are you going to pay for something that should be for all the public," she says. "I'm totally against that--it should be no cost."
