Police seek man who fired 2 shots outside Fulton Mall

BROOKLYN -

Police have released photos of the person they say opened fire Monday in broad daylight in front of the Macy’s at the Fulton Mall.

Police say the person fired two shots that did not strike anyone.

The incident follows a recent spate of shootings in the downtown area, most notably the fatal shooting inside a Target store at City Point mall in November.

Borough President Eric Adams has spoken publicly about the shootings and has vowed to find a solution to address the problem.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
