Brooklyn shoppers hit up stores to prep for storm

Brooklyn residents are hitting up supermarkets to pick up their bread, milk and eggs in preparation for the snowy weekend.
Shoppers at the Golden Mango Supermarket in Canarsie tell News 12 that they would rather be safe than sorry.
Employees say 90 percent of their Friday shoppers came in to get those three items.
They say they have been very busy the past couple of days but that there hasn’t been any product shortages because they were stocked up and ready for the surge in shoppers ahead of the storm.
“It’s good to be prepared,” says one shopper. “Because if we can't go outside, we stay home and enjoy time with our family, but we can't miss food because food is the most important stuff."
