CANARSIE -

The weekend's wet weather was causing flooding concerns in low-lying and coastal areas.

News 12 meteorologists say there is a strong likelihood for hazardous conditions as temperatures start to drop and wet surfaces start to ice over, creating slippery and dangerous roads and sidewalks.

They say there is also a risk of developing frostbite or hypothermia as that bitter cold sets in.

News 12 meteorologists say low temperatures will drop to near 9 degrees and wind chills will make it feel -5 to -15 degrees.
