Anyone who grew up in the 1990s with a Nintendo Entertainment System knows that being torched by Bo Jackson in Tecmo Super Bowl was a frustrating part of their childhood.
One can only wonder if they got that message Saturday at the Bronx Ale House.
About 20 gamers participated in an event billed as the “Bronx Bowl 2019 – The New York City Tecmo Super Bowl Tournament.”
Northeast Tecmo, who organized the old school gaming tournament, says it hopes more events will be held in the borough.
