The MTA has announced a new plan to redesign bus routes in the Bronx.

A recent MTA survey found the most common complaints from riders were slow bus speeds, congestion and reliability.

The MTA says it plans to solve some of the issues by looking at frequency, coverage and routes. It says the bus routes in the Bronx have not been updated in decades despite major changes to development in the borough.

The MTA says it's still drafting the new bus design but plans to have it completed by September.
