A Red Hook business owner is trying to pick up the pieces after flames tore through the company’s Red Hook headquarters.
First responders were called to 570 Smith St. around 1 a.m. Thursday inside the headquarters of Gold Star Smoked Fish.
It took crews a little more than an hour to get the fire under control. The Department of Buildings and National Grid were also at the scene earlier this morning.
According to their website, they’ve been open at the Smith Street location since 1981.
At this point, the cause is still under investigation and will be determined by the fire marshal’s office.
News 12 is told three firefighters suffered minor injuries.
