A 22-year-old man was shot and injured in the lobby at the Tompkins Houses in Bed-Stuy.

Police say an unidentified man entered the lobby of the building at 65 Tompkins Ave., approached the victim and shot him in the right arm.

Fire officials say were called to the scene shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday morning.

The victim was sent to Kings County Hospital in serious condition but with injuries that are not life-threatening. 

The suspect fled the scene and was last seen dressed in all black.
