A person was shot during a violent robbery in East New York early this morning, police say.

Police: 1 person shot in East New York robbery
A person was shot during a violent robbery in East New York early this morning, police say.
They say responders were called to the scene between Hegemon and Van Siclen Avenues shortly after 5 a.m.
The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital and is expected to be OK.
Police have not yet released any information regarding the alleged shooter.
