Family calls for more charges in shooting case against ex-NYPD sergeant
The family of a 21-year-old man is calling for more charges in the shooting case against a former NYPD sergeant.
Thavone Santana was shot by off-duty NYPD Sgt. Ritchard Blake in August in East New York. Blake initially claimed Santana tried to rob him, but surveillance video showed a different account.
The video shows the two arguing before the shooting.

Blake was fired from the NYPD. He is facing charges of tampering with evidence. Family members and supporters say the charges don't go far enough.
Blake is due back in court April 17.
