Midwood shop helps hundreds prepare for Passover

MIDWOOD -

Hundreds of Jewish members of the borough are preparing for Passover this weekend.

The owner of the Judaica Place, Yitzy Gruen, says his Midwood shop has been flooded with people to get items for the holiday.

The store sells Seder plates, kippahs and souvenirs to bring for those invited to a dinner.

Gruen says this time of the year is usually their busiest and they're also taking orders online from all over the country.

Customers say this is one of their last chances to shop since Passover begins Friday at sundown.
