Police: Cyclist fatally struck by truck in Borough Park

BOROUGH PARK -

A cyclist was struck and killed Wednesday by a truck in Borough Park.

Police say the 26-year-old victim was struck near 17-03 47th St. around 5:30 p.m.

The victim was allegedly trying to go between a car and the truck involved when he was hit.

The 29-year-old driver of the truck remained at the scene.

There have been no charges filed and an investigation is ongoing.
