Police say a father of two was hit and killed by a postal truck Friday in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
It happened at MacDougal Street and Howard Avenue around 5 p.m.
Police say the truck was stopped at an intersection before the victim tried to cross the street. The vehicle moved, and then hit and dragged the victim down the street.
The victim was found with severe trauma to his body and was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He has been identified as 52-year-old Charles McClean.
McClean's brother says his main concern right now is his mother because this is his third brother who has been tragically killed.
News 12 is told that the driver of the U.S. Postal Service truck remained at the scene.
