A 71-year-old school bus driver who was returning to work from his break was hospitalized earlier this month after he says he was randomly attacked by another man in Morrisania.
Charles McLennon says he was walking to his bus when he was struck in the face for no apparent reason on May 1.
The attack happened near the intersection of East 167th Street and 3rd Avenue.  McLennon lives less than two blocks away.
McLennon suffered a concussion, had stitches near both eyes and had to stay overnight at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln.
He says he didn't get a good look at the suspect, but recognizes the man in the surveillance video recovered by police as someone who also lives in the neighborhood.
McLennon says he is grateful that no permanent damage was done.  He returned to work a few days following the attack.
