A man was kidnapped and held for ransom money in Bed-Stuy, according to police.

Investigators say it happened Saturday morning near Nostrand Avenue and Herkimer Street.

They say the 32-year-old man was held captive in his vehicle where he was assaulted and robbed.

Officials say three people demanded money from his associate for his safe return.

Authorities say one person is in custody.

The victim was treated for minor scrapes and bruises.
