Police: 21-year-old shot in the arm on Cozine Avenue

EAST NEW YORK -

Police responded to a shooting in East New York Monday morning.

It happened in front of 215 Cozine Ave. between Van Siclen Avenue and Vermont Street just after 7 a.m.

Police say someone inside the building heard the gunshots and call 911.

When officers arrived, they found a 21-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his arm.

News 12 is told the victim is in stable condition at the hospital.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
