3 hurt in Sunset Park apartment fire

SUNSET PARK -

An investigation is underway after a fire broke out in Sunset Park Tuesday morning.

News 12 is told three people were hurt, but it appears their injuries are non-life threatening

The call came just before 10 a.m. that flames were coming from the fourth floor of 814 57th St., between 8th and 9th avenues.

Officials say three people were taken to the hospital, two of them with minor injuries and one of them with serious injuries.

The Red Cross was also on scene assisting those who have been displaced by the fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation
