A family is still seeking answers in the death of a 27-year-old man who was fatally stabbed in Crown Heights two months ago.
Manuel Anthony Johnson was stabbed in the stomach on Eastern Parkway and Ralph Avenue, according to investigators.
"That was my nephew, and they took his life so soon," says Deneen Johnson, the victim's aunt. "I'm still heartbroken. I can't sleep. I can't eat. I got my stomach torn up inside me. The family is lost right now."
Johnson's killer remains on the loose and no suspects have been identified. Police have released very little information in the case, saying they don't want to compromise what they call and active investigation.
Police sources say Johnson did have a criminal past, with 10 prior arrests, but loved ones paint a different picture of a loving father to two young kids.
