Business owner: Teens threw smoke bombs, firecrackers inside Darn Donuts

BAY RIDGE -

A Bay Ridge doughnut shop was vandalized Thursday, according to the owner of the business.

The owner of Darn Donuts says a group of teenagers came up to her store and threw smoke bombs and firecrackers inside.

Surveillance video shows at least four boys walking up and throwing objects in the store.

The owner says teenagers have previously vandalized the store by breaking glass and recording themselves while doing it.

She is now considering taking legal action and pressing charges once the people in the video are identified.

The owner says she doesn't want to press charges, but feels going to authorities is the only way to stop the vandalism.
