A 21-year-old from Brooklyn is back home after competing on Fox’s “Paradise Hotel.”
Kaitlin Reagan, who was raised in Gravesend, says she was contacted by the reality show through social media, calling her in for an audition.
“The one thing that they loved about me was that I kind of had like that Brooklyn vibe. I walked in there, I had Jordans on, with the sweatpants, kind of laid back,” says Reagan.
It was her Brooklyn attitude that won them over.
“Paradise Hotel” is a competition-based reality show that follows a group of single people put up in a hotel. The only way to move forward is to pair up with another contestant. Anyone without a partner at the end of each episode is sent home.

"They kind of throw scenarios at you that make you go against each other. You have to limit each other. You have to figure out who’s on your side and who’s not because somebody could be lying to you,” says Reagan.

Reagan and her partner were the show’s runner up.
"They want you to be yourself, and the best thing I know how to do is be myself,” she says.

Reagan, who now has thousands of followers on social media, hopes to inspire others to be themselves.

“I really want to make sure that if I’m going to be an influencer and have 100,000 people following me, that I have a purpose,” says Reagan.

She says she plans to move to Hollywood to pursue a career in acting.
