More than a dozen tenants are still displaced five months after a fire damaged part of a Flatbush building.

Those tenants, along with Public Advocate Juumane Williams, are calling on the building's landlord to fix several apartments so they can move back in.

Eighteen families say they have been homeless since flames erupted in February. Now, they're calling on their landlord, Juda Rosenfeld and JBM Estates, to make the much-needed repairs.

Williams toured the building to see the conditions of the apartments. After several months of living with friends and family or staying in hotels, the tenants say they just want to move back home.

Some of the tenants filed a group housing court case against their landlord. They have a court date on Monday.

News 12 reached out to JBM Estates and is waiting for a response.
