BROWNSVILLE -

Crews responded to an early morning fire in Brownsville Tuesday.

Officials say the fire broke out at 2107 Pacific St.

They say it appears to have started in the rear exterior of the building and spread to the second and third floors.

The fire marshal says the high temperatures made the conditions more difficult, causing them to call for additional units.

News 12 is told one firefighter suffered a minor injury.

The fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
