BRIGHTON BEACH -

An alleged thief has struck twice in one week in Brighton Beach, according to police.

Police say the first time was last Tuesday and the second time was last Thursday.

Police released a video from last Thursday of the man wanted for questioning for both burglaries.

They say a little after 1 p.m. last Tuesday someone broke into a home near Brighton First Street and Brighton First Terrace through a window and stole a 54-year-old woman’s laptop.

Investigators believe that same person broke into a home on Brighton Third Street and Brighton Second Lane around 7 a.m. Thursday.

Police say the 47-year-old man who lives there says about $1,500 and his TV were stolen.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
