Family members gathered in Brooklyn Bridge Park Sunday to remember those killed by gun violence.

Family members gathered in Brooklyn Bridge Park Sunday to remember those killed by gun violence.
Loved ones wrote a note to someone who was killed by guns. They tied those notes to a wreath and sent it out into the water.
Xenia Barnes' nephew was killed in a shooting and she now has bonded with others who have been through similar acts.
"Everyone's situation is a bit different, however, we have bond all through this grief," Barnes said.
A foundation was set up in Barnes' nephew's name, Melquain Jatelle Anderson.
