EAST NEW YORK -

A rapper from Brooklyn has numerous music projects, a clothing line and has performed hundreds of times – all before his 11th birthday.

At only 10 years old Youngtrell from East New York is making a name for himself in the music industry.

"I've been having the taste of music because my dad is a producer,” says Youngtrell.

His love for music was instant, listening to his father producer for other artists.

"I was always like, ‘wow that sounds really cool,’ -- I always wanted to give it a shot,” he says.

He released his first single "Not" at 5 years old and began to perform all over New York City.

The young rapper says he uses everything around him as inspiration.

The young star is now producing his own talent as well.

"Since I know how to produce my music, I can produce their music,” says Youngtrell.

He is also creating his own clothing line Trell Apparel

"It's just the way that I dress, it's my style to it,” he says.

Whatever he ventures to next, he says he has someone very special to thank.

"I appreciate my dad investing his time and work and money into my projects so we can make a living off of this,” says Youngtrell.
