Community activist teams up with barbershop to offer free back-to-school haircuts

A Bronx resident is teaming up with a local barbershop to give free back to school haircuts to students ahead of the school year.
Students from ages four to 12 showed up for their cuts, as well as free school supplies Sunday.
Jomar Quintana, who organized the event, says one of the biggest factors in making yourself feel good is looking good and that's just one of the ways to help the students succeed.
Quintana says he is all about his community, adding that it’s crucial to come together and change the outlook for the youth.
