Police: Man charged in fatal stabbing of Uber driver

A man has been arrested for allegedly fatally stabbing an Uber driver back in March.

A man has been arrested for allegedly fatally stabbing an Uber driver back in March.
Police have charged 24-year-old Malik Evans with murder, attempted robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.
The driver, 27-year-old Ganiou Gandonou, was fatally stabbed in his car on the Hutchinson River Parkway.
His wife told News 12 they had just come to the U.S. from a country in Africa looking for a better life.
Gandonou leaves behind a 2-year-old son.
The motive behind that stabbing is still unknown.
