Police say a driver lost control of his car and slammed it into the front of a home in Paterson.

The crash happened at the corner of Burlington and Totowa roads.

Police say four people were inside the home at the time of the crash, and that they were not injured.

They say the driver is suspected of driving under the influence and punched a firefighter on the scene in the face.

The firefighter is expected to recover.
