A fire badly damaged a home in Bridgeport, officials say.
The fire broke out Tuesday at 140 Marilyn Drive shortly after midnight.
The fire was put out but firefighters returned to the scene because the fire rekindled around 5:30 a.m.
Officials say when crews arrived on scene heavy fire was on the first floor.
They say the fire started in the front of the house.
The couple living inside made it out safely and no one was injured, officials say.
