Health officials: Flu-related deaths in Connecticut climb to 58

 Nine new influenza-associated deaths have been reported in Connecticut, bringing the total of deaths in the state this flu season to 58.
Department of Public Health officials say the nine deaths were reported the week of Feb. 16 through Feb. 22.
They say the flu has killed 58 people total in the state for the 2019-2020 season.
Health officials say there has been one reported pediatric death related to the flu this season, and the best way to protect yourself against severe illness is to get vaccinated.
