Superstars from the WWE paid a special visit to elementary school students at P.S. 81 in Bed-Stuy.
UNICEF Kid Power partnered with WWE to visit the school before WWE's live "Raw" on Monday night. They danced with wrestler "No Way Jose" and talked about ways to improve and empower their community.
The school was chosen because of its dedication to UNICEF Kid Power. It has one of the highest participation rates in UNICEF Kid Power Up Videos, which gets kids moving.
Every time videos are played, food is donated to kids in need. Becky Lynch, the RAW women's champion, along with superstars Natalya and "No Way Jose" led discussions about improving the school. The playground was ultimately decided as their goal to improve.
The WWE gifted the school $1,000 to make the playground goal a reality.
