Curran: Nearly 10,000 COVID-19 cases in Nassau; 13 new deaths reported

Officials say there are currently 91 positive cases of coronavirus in the Nassau County Police Department.

Curran: Nearly 10,000 COVID-19 cases in Nassau; 13 new deaths reported
Nassau County Executive Laura Curran says there are now 9,554 positive cases in Nassau County – an increase of 1,010 cases from Tuesday.
A total of 13 new deaths have been reported – bringing the total to 76 deaths. The age range of those who just passed away are from 56 to 89 years old.
Officials say there are currently 91 positive cases of coronavirus in the Nassau County Police Department.
As of Tuesday night, there are currently 279 patients on ventilators. However, there is an increase in the number of discharges – 86.
Starting on Sunday, April 5, NICE bus service will go to a Saturday schedule. For weekday only routes, service will fun seven days a week.
