A new bill is allowing expectant mothers in New Jersey to have one person in the room during labor amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The bill comes after actions to ban birthing partners from the delivery room.
State Assemblyman Raj Mukherji argued that women with a support system during childbirth tend to have a more stress-free delivery.
