Students were asked to answer for three questions about their situations on the home front:
1. How would you describe what it's like being home for school so far?
2. Are you concerned that if school at home works well, you may never get a snow day off again?
3. What do you miss most about being able to play outside with your friends?
Here are some answers:
“I really like learning with teachers and being there in person and being engaged in the moment and asking questions,” says Jack Mangan, a junior at Lacey Township High School.
“Being home from school so far is actually like really weird,” says Haley McArthur, a freshman at Wall Township High School. “I’m not used to it at all.”
“It’s fun to be able to go out with your team and practice and have games and all spring sports, it’s fun to watch so that’s really sad that it got cut short,’ says Brooke Harrington, a student at Freehold Township High School.
