State health officials have halted the operation of a funeral home in Flatlands after bodies were found in U-Haul trucks.
Law enforcement sources say they found four rental trucks and at least 50 corpses at the Andrew T. Cleckley Funeral Home Wednesday.
Officials say bodies have been moved from trucks into a hearse under the supervision of the NYPD.
State Health Commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker called the situation appalling and unacceptable despite the heightened pressure funeral homes are under during the pandemic.

"Following an investigation by the State Department of Health, I issued an immediate suspension order to the Andrew T. Cleckley Funeral Home in Brooklyn – whose actions were appalling, disrespectful to the families of the deceased, and completely unacceptable," said Dr. Zucker.
