New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio was at a Memorial Day ceremony in Brooklyn Monday.
De Blasio, along with First Lady Chirlane McCray and Department of Veterans' Services Commissioner James Hendon, honored the sacrifices of the nation’s veterans during the ceremony.
They laid wreaths at the Brooklyn War Memorial in Downtown Brooklyn to honor the women and men who died in defense of the United States of America.
