Hollywood studios have been looking for ways to get production up and running while maintaining safety guidelines due to COVID-19.
On Monday, studio and labor unions proposed extensive coronavirus testing and other precautions.
The guidelines were developed by a task force of representatives made up of numerous studios and unions.
The task force urged regular testing of cast and crew as well as daily monitoring of symptoms. TV shows were also discouraged to film in front of a live studio audience.
The recommendations were sent to governors of New York and California.
