BROOKLYN - One person was taken to the hospital in critical condition early Sunday after a two-alarm fire in Brownsville.

According to officials, flames broke out on the first floor of a two-story building on East 98th Street and spread upstairs. They say 55-year-old Shelley Kinley was pulled out in cardiac arrest and taken to Brookdale Hospital.
