BROWNSVILLE - Schools across the city are getting cleaned up for the 21st annual New York Cares Day.

In Brownsville, Dr. Jacqueline Peek-Davis Elementary School is getting cleaned up by volunteers, including getting a fresh coat of paint.

Citywide, officials say that 94 schools are getting cleaned by an army of more than 6,000 volunteers.
