BROOKLYN - EBay announced Wednesday that it was hacked, raising concerns about how secure your information really is online.
  
The company is asking users to change their password following the cyberattack, which compromised a database containing encrypted passwords. 

Experts agree that consumers should change up their passwords as an extra measure to protect themselves. 

Many News 12 viewers say they try to update their passwords regularly, but others always keep them the same.
