Brooklyn eateries see uptick in business during World Cup games
Soccer fans flocked to local bars and restaurants across New York City to watch the World Cup Sunday.
The eatery in Williamsburg Freehold, which serves as a coffeehouse, restaurant and bar, held watch parties of all of the games.
Josh Caswell, the managing partner at Freehold, told News 12 the games have been good for business, especially the morning games.
Argentina were the winners of the World Cup, winning in penalty kicks after a 3-3 tie through regular time and overtime.
