Police are searching for a swimmer that went missing in Far Rockaway.

According to police, they received a call around 2 a.m. for a male in the water at Beach 13th Street

Nassau police confirm to News 12 they are assisting the NYPD and the Coast Guard in the search.

Officials say they have not located the swimmer and believe that based on the current, the swimmer could have been swept into Nassau waters.
